Age Requirement
Splitted is not intended for or directed at children. You must be at least 13 years old to use it. We do not knowingly allow users under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If we learn that a child under 13 has an account, we delete it.
How Splitted Limits Risk
- There is no private messaging. Comments are public and tied to a single daily question
- Proposed questions are screened by automated filters and reviewed before they go live
- Users can report comments and proposals from within the app
- Content that breaks our rules is removed
Reporting Child Safety Concerns
If you see content or behaviour on Splitted that may endanger a child, please report it to us immediately at hello@splitted.app. You can also report comments directly in the app, or reach us from Settings › Support. We review every report and act on it as quickly as possible. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
How We Respond
When we become aware of a violation of these standards, we:
- Review the report promptly
- Remove the violating content
- Suspend or permanently ban the accounts involved
- Preserve relevant evidence as required by law
- Cooperate with law enforcement and the appropriate authorities
Compliance and Reporting to Authorities
Splitted complies with applicable child safety laws. We report child sexual abuse material and other CSAE concerns to the relevant authorities, such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States and the equivalent authorities in other countries, as required by law.
Designated Point of Contact
Our designated point of contact for child safety matters, including questions about how we prevent and respond to CSAM, can be reached at hello@splitted.app.
