Terms of Use

Splitted is operated by Tribecamp Inc. By accessing or using the Splitted app or website, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Splitted.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Splitted. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission. By using Splitted, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

You sign in with Apple, Google or an email code. When you create an account, you agree to:

• Give accurate information
• Keep access to your sign-in method secure
• Take responsibility for all activity on your account
• Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorised use
• Keep to one account, and not share, sell or transfer it

You agree not to:

• Post hateful, harassing, threatening, sexual or violent content
• Bully, harass or intimidate other users
• Post spam, scams or deliberately misleading information
• Impersonate anyone or share someone else's personal information
• Break any law
• Manipulate votes, predictions, proposals or invite codes, for example with multiple accounts or coordinated activity
• Use bots, scrapers or other automated tools
• Interfere with Splitted or try to get around its security

You own the comments, questions and feedback you post. By posting them, you give Tribecamp Inc. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to:

• Host, store and display your content in Splitted
• Use it to operate, improve and promote Splitted
• Use aggregated results, such as vote totals, for any purpose

You are responsible for what you post and confirm you have the right to post it.

How the daily debate works:

• There is one question a day, open for about 23 hours
• You can vote once per debate, and your vote is final once submitted
• Predictions are scored when the debate closes
• Results reflect Splitted users only and are not a scientific poll
• Upcoming questions can come from community proposals. We review proposals and decide which questions go live

To keep Splitted safe, we may:

• Review, filter or remove content, including with automated tools
• Remove content that breaks these terms
• Suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms
• Make final decisions on content disputes

You can report comments and proposals from within the app, or report anything else by emailing hello@splitted.app.

Splitted, its name, logo, design and features, and all content other than content posted by users, are owned by Tribecamp Inc. and protected by copyright, trademark and other laws.

If you downloaded Splitted from the App Store or Google Play, your use of the app is also subject to that store's terms. If there is a conflict, these Terms of Use apply to your relationship with us.

Splitted is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind:

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
• Questions and comments reflect users' opinions, not ours
• We are not responsible for content posted by users
• Results and prediction scores are for entertainment only

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tribecamp Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of Splitted.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings › My profile in the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms. The sections on your content, intellectual property, disclaimers and limitation of liability continue to apply after your account ends.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above, and for significant changes we will let you know in the app. Continuing to use Splitted after a change means you accept the updated terms.
